• Illness, injury, escape, or death of a pet due to pre-existing conditions, age, stress, or unforeseen circumstances
• Damage caused by pets to property, furnishings, or third parties
• Loss, theft, or damage caused by burglary, fire, electrical or plumbing failure, power outages, weather events, or acts of God
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damages

Clients are strongly advised to maintain adequate home and pet insurance for the duration of the service.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about pets, routines, medical needs, and household systems
• Disclose any known behavioural issues, aggression, anxiety, escape tendencies, or special care requirements
• Provide up-to-date emergency contact details and veterinary information before services commence

Failure to disclose relevant information may limit or void liability.

5. Independent Contractor Status

Services are provided personally by the sole proprietor or, where applicable, by an approved independent sitter acting under agreement. No employment, partnership, or agency relationship is created.
